Erna Luella Keup Raap

Erna Luella Keup Raap died, February 14, 2002 at Sun Dial Manor, Bristol, SD. She was born on June 22, 1912 on the Keup farm near Andover, SD to Gustav and Louisa Westphal Keup.

She married Arthur J. Raap on September 20, 1933. She was organist and choir director at Zion Lutheran Church, Andover, SD for 55 years. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. She was involved with a Study Club and an Extension Club for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Bettyjean Madden, and three brothers.

She is survived by daughters, Marlene (Nathan) Eickmann of Littleton, CO; Sharon (Richard) Kroll of Bristol, SD; Audrey (Roger) Morehouse of Boyce, LA; sons John (Georgia) Raap of Lockhart, TX; James of Fairmont, NE; twenty-two grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Andover, SD or Sun Dial Manor, Bristol, SD.
